4 sandra - Thursday July 05, 2007

5 The Brebinator - Thursday June 14, 2007

Well I am sitting here - in an old blue 2A shirt, V5 minimized and the essence of LA over Tokyo reaches my ears. With a framed Weather station from invicid up on my wall. .. what can I say..

. . it goes beyond the site . . thank you for version of a future.

6 mi_experimento - Sunday May 13, 2007

Really Fantastic image!
Greatest work.

7 jboy - Thursday October 26, 2006

U did it agin 2A… V5 is without doubt the most advanced use of Flash for a full Flash website. Thumbs up!

8 Siliconmana - Wednesday October 18, 2006

Love this website, a total inspiration, and love these images. I read someone say it was done as a ‘matte painting’? Im not sure what that is. I create worlds in in VR environment and thought it was created with Terragen or Bryce. Would love to know more about the construction process of these images! Where, how….. :P

9 Vitorino - Wednesday September 13, 2006

Just like anyone else here. I’m a big fan and I must say: Omg what a perfect site. Congratulations.

10 xstorm - Monday August 28, 2006

Yes this is great I agree with that and 2A v.5 Attractor is most beautiful flash site I ever seen. But I`d like to see some tutorials of matte painting from 2A. Maybe Mr E.Jordan can tell about how these matte paintings from “attractor” was made, tips&tricks :)

Matte painting is something new for me thats whay I`m asking this!

11 2cool - Saturday August 26, 2006

I was inontroduced to 2A through my web design class as a reference for inspiration. I was shocked by the way they used flash and ran with it. Literally, “it messed my soul up.” V5 has set the bar and pushed many envelopes on the technical and aesthetical side. Awesome work!

12 Ramon - Saturday July 29, 2006

Despite the site feeling alot less “fun” and more serious, you gentlepeople deserve a standing ovation; not only for this site, but also for all the previous versions, which function as one huge timeline of progressiveness. Great work indeed!

13 UNT0UCHABLES - Sunday July 23, 2006

Thank you for inspiration 2advanced. Attractor is the best site I have ever seen like everything else (created by 2advanced).

You have fans also in Slovakia - Middle Europe :)

14 UNT0UCHABLES - Friday July 21, 2006

Thanks for the inspiration 2advanced. “Atacttor” is a great work. It is perfect like everything that you have done.

Lukas - webdesigner (Slovakia - Middle Europe)

16 FrankSiciliano - Monday July 17, 2006

2ADV.V5 is so fantastic! Excellent!

17 RussellB - Monday July 10, 2006

2A was my original inspiration to buy StudioMX and start some real development. Now with this, I’m again feeling hyped and wanting to learn as much as I can. VERY nice job.

18 CE/creative studios - Friday July 07, 2006

2advanced is GOD - Amen

19 CoronaXtra - Friday July 07, 2006

Greatest Website Ever made. Im impressed. As always.

20 bey0nd_unknown - Tuesday July 04, 2006

the site was much more beautiful before you changed it to this ….

20.a tnovak2A - Jul 06, 2006

There’s always a mixed group of opinions regarding aesthetics. You should have seen how many people disliked the old V.3 website as well. For me personally, I was never a big fan of V.4. I think it’s really all about preference.

21 Corey - Monday July 03, 2006

Nice colour schemes, it good that you did not via of you have kept the colours all constant.

22 jshyang - Monday June 26, 2006

It is awesome… 2A never disappointed us… Excellent… COOL site man…

23 tozenter - Monday June 19, 2006

2A Never disappointed me, yet exceed my expectations

24 ipixel8 - Thursday June 15, 2006

Once again, 2A has not just raised the bar of interactive web design, you’ve strapped it to a rocket and shot it into orbit, forcing the rest of us to scramble and build our own rockets to catch up. I’ve been a fan since v3, and I knew a 2A site revision was in the works a month or so ago when I noticed the 2A logo on the entry page looked…corroded. Weathered. Ready. to be. replaced. And you’ve not only replaced that logo, you’ve Redefined Site Design as well. Again. Attractor certainly lives up to its name! Kudos!

25 makkusu - Thursday June 08, 2006

First I have to say I’m a fan of the 2A work. Anything great takes time and 2A knows it. That said I’d have to say this new website lacks in the functionality department. It’s a little over complicated and the flash work, great as it is, is not ready for todays time…it’s very buggy.

26 The Ghostman - Thursday June 08, 2006

Same here………..i wanna know how you guys do it with Flash or Macromedia Studio , Cinema 4D!! As 4 de music, i wanna learn how to use Fruity Loops!!! Im speachless. I cannot find words to congratulate on your work Eric!! Keep goin man!!!

27 rompelomo - Thursday June 08, 2006

Excelent! They caused in my a change in the form of seeing the design. The scenarios that generate, applying the concept of Liquid Architecture, technology, and now the fantastic scenarios, really very good. I hope this blog is to learn on you, and with you. Greetings and I hope to continue in contact :)

28 BlackManny23 - Wednesday June 07, 2006

Absolutely Amazing! This website is truly amazing. You guys really outdone yourselves. I’ve been an advent fan of the work done here for years since V3. I have to continue to improve my game in webdesigning to at least scratch the surface level where you guys are at. I am most impressed with the lighting, transitions and the background pictures. Please, Teach Me!

29 Celina - Tuesday June 06, 2006

Absolutely stunning work, I only wish I had a good enough monitor to allow me to absorb the majesty of this piece.

30 jkar - Tuesday June 06, 2006

When I first saw the 3rd edition of the 2Advanced site, I was so greatly inspired, that images and nuances of William Gibson ’s futurescapes leaped into my mind, keeping me frozen before the screen, hitting the “Refresh” button again and again. 2Advanced had at that point, greatly altered the way I perceived web design and development.

Come ATTRACTOR, I don’t feel the same way anymore. Instead, I feel so full, so immersed to the site ’s vision that it hasn’t left my mind since the day before yesterday, that I first viewed it. It is simply perfect, and it may always stand as an example of what a team of resourcefull developers and great, great designers can accomplish, given such a wide - scale vision.

31 Sekka - Monday June 05, 2006

I remember when I was 15 and I saw the 2A website for the first time, when v3 was released if I remember correctly. That very website is what inspired me to be a web developer and it is what I do for a living today. When v4 came out, to be fully honest, I was disappointed, but v5 has filled me with the same inspiration it did when I first came to the 2A website 6 years ago. Thank you and well done, especially for not hyping up this release :)

32 vectortrance - Sunday June 04, 2006

Eric, are you familliar with the works of Dylan Cole? Your matte work reminds me of his and I was wondering if some of his themes inspired you when creating these pieces.

33 Vexona - Sunday June 04, 2006

Insane job on the new site, right when I type in the url and see the loadscreen I instally feel the power of the site. Makes me very inspired to sit and design all day once I view your site.

34 adler - Sunday June 04, 2006

2advanced inspired me in the last 5 years I think. Thanks to 2A I’ve started learning Macromedia Flash and other design tools. You are amasing like always. Thank you very much.

35 ProdigyDesignWorks - Saturday June 03, 2006

This should be the new 2advanced headquarters, totally awesome!

(ps - is there anything you guys are not good at??!?)

36 Airnutz1 - Saturday June 03, 2006

This is the most amazing site I’ve ever come across, GREAT WORK! You guys continue to push the envelope.

37 At0ri - Friday June 02, 2006

Yeha … V5 is so fantastic ! I love it ..

38 Renjamin - Friday June 02, 2006

This wallpaper rocked. I was very heavily inspired. I have created work like this before, but nothing in such beautiful depth and detail.

39 xWingmaNx - Friday June 02, 2006

I’d have to agree with everyone! Very cool, very motivational–time to hit the books again!

40 _eternity - Friday June 02, 2006

Impressive like ever, this new website is the best you’ve made since… 2A V3 :p
When I see this kind of website I want to give all i have to improve myself.
You gave me the pleasure to do graphics and motion. Thanks 2A.

41 rida - Friday June 02, 2006

OMFG!! I am followin 2A the past years and this website and graphics are really great work!!

42 Beo - Friday June 02, 2006

V5 The best site I’ve ever seen *smile*! Everything is so smooth and good looking ah! Going crazy! GREAT job, Keep the good work up!

43 beside - Friday June 02, 2006

This painting most certainly sets a hi-tech exploration mood, what’d be cool is if you were able to turn a scene like this into motion, rather than on V.5. loading the static images (as beautiful as they are) in the background, having them fly-through from scene to scene as they all revolve around the temple. Of course then clouds would be moving as well, sunrise & sunset, and that would take countless more hours. Great job on setting the mood.

44 obee - Friday June 02, 2006

Well, nothing to say, perfect, great job, beautifull… “C’est vraiment superbe” as we say in french. You are a model for us (I mean webdesigner). Encore bravo !!!

45 jalger - Friday June 02, 2006

ATTRACTOR has elevated the bar of precision to new heights !!
Very awesome indeed. Additionally, this BLOG is a nice touch. I get the sense of interfaces described in NEUROMANCER in this release.
2Advanced sets the evolution for New Media experiences // now how about a documentary film? :)

46 Joshtafari - Friday June 02, 2006

*blink blink*
V5?
V5!
*still in shock and awe*

47 werebear.swf - Friday June 02, 2006

awesome… wish there was accompanying write up though :) but awesome nonetheless. I’m totally blown away by the V5 site

48 Clone - Friday June 02, 2006

Great work on all the imagery done for attractor, really has some nice and vintage touch about it.
Of course, the rest of the site is great too.

49 vectortrance - Thursday June 01, 2006

God this is gorgeous! The coloration is beautiful, and the surreality of the scene is just astonishing. It leaves me wondering what the guy on the shores must be thinking right now. The concept is just amazing, and I expected nothing less from the best studio in the world.
