Excelent blog desing :-) I’m waiting for more content and photos of 2AHQ :-D

3 Grafik - Saturday April 26, 2008

Wow, some of these posts are from sooo long ago. I didn’t even find out about 2Advanced that long ago. Someone posted a link to it on a forum I’m a member of, and I’ve been hooked ever since. Probably moreso than they were lol. Hopefully you guys get to devote more time to the blog soon (or hire someone with the sole purpose of updating it and acting as a sort of medium between the team and everyone else haha).

example of a good tutorial: How to grow down the sound slikely when we leaving focus of the flash or puttin mute on it… It will be great !

5 Metz - Friday October 05, 2007

hey post a TUTORIAL …..

6 Rajma - Tuesday October 02, 2007

I’m really glad you guys started posting again. I thought maybe this had become another dead end blog. Keep up the inspirational work, it gives us small design business owners something to strive for.

7 Stephan Lenting - Tuesday June 19, 2007

Hmmm… Hope i will get to see new posts from you guys, someday…

8 Steve@316 - Sunday May 27, 2007

Keep up the good work!
Your work is always inspiring.

Been around since the design Insites days…

9 None - Thursday January 25, 2007

I’ve been visiting 2Advanced for four years this coming March. It’s great to see how the team has advanced over the years and grown in not only their skill but their ability to apply themselves to web-standard conformities.

No doubt, I have been following through the distance the evolution of 2A and no doubt, everytime they revamp their site, it is like a new journey you take to the outer world. I have read some of the comments and I strongly recommend 2A to publish a book about their site development. Although this might bring some business issues. A sneak peack wouldn’t hurt I guess… ;)
Although the programming architecture seems complex to me, as I’m not a programmer by no means, the use of a fresh and nice contrast image with strong colors seems to hide something… hummm… Ahh! Right, the secret of 2A!
Although the site is beautiful as usual 2A, congratulations again for the nice work, I should say that it is a bit quite confusing your navigation. Or should I say complex. You see, for mere mortal out there to find what they want in 2A site for sure it will take quite a while… But why should you worry when your clients base are already so strong. ;) Keep the good work by excelency!
Thanks for the inspiration during all these years.

Regards, Miguel R. Duque.

I am late here, following 2Advanced Studios since the days of REBIRTH, and I have always loved your work. This was a good spot for fans to actually meet the people they admire but I dont see many of you guys around.

This platform thing isnt properly working as far as I can say, otherwise the traffic here would be a bit that it is right now.

Best of luck to everybody in the 2A team, love you all and I plan to work for you guys too :P

12 vir2lboy - Sunday October 08, 2006

First and for most, props to you Eric Jordan, what a pioneer you are, i always knew that those who swing electronica music had an extended sense of imagination and you managed to capture the essence of it all in a visual concept that reflected the future of virtual reality, in plain english , YOU rock and so do the whole team of 2advanced studio.

13 Kolumbic - Saturday September 23, 2006

I will never forget the first time I stumbled upon 2Advanced.com At the time it was version three, Expansions. I was completely invigorated in something I had no idea what was at the time but I knew I liked it and I knew I wanted to do something just like that. I think after the 50th time visiting the site (mind you on a 56k connection) I finally started reading what the site was about and was introduced to the inner workings of web development and what have you.

Today, 2Advanced serves as my daily dose of inspiration everyday as I hone to improve my web developer skills.

Keep up the excellent work.

14 ltdao - Monday August 21, 2006

The current works are beautifully extracted! naturally inspired by it–that i had the Return of the Sakura as my wallpaper! the 2advanced teams rock! thank you for exposing world class designs and webworks.

15 studlybw - Friday August 18, 2006

Ok, I’ve asked for it before and never seem to get my wish. Would you please post the first version of 2advanced. I actually happen to be one of the people who stumbled upon 2advanced when it was still just Eric’s portfolio and you were in the middle of ditching your previous employer. Anyway, it’s the one that has the picture of you with, I think, an undershirt and a jacket on and is pretty much all blue and was a pop-up. Most probably wouldn’t remember, or have even seen, this version but it would be great to see where you started because, at the time I thought it was the best thing since sliced bread. If you won’t post if publicly, maybe you can just send me the swf to check out again. Brings back old memories!

16 xscreate - Sunday July 23, 2006

I’ll tell you what… being a web designer myself, I am getting kind of pissed that every time I think of something cool, it somehow always relates back to something 2advanced already did. I’ve been following you guys for years now and everytime you do something new, it always amazes me! Keep up the good work, just tone it down a little so i can do something better then you for once!

17 Xisco - Monday July 17, 2006

Always i need to start a web job i see some website for inspiration, and 2A is in the list, sometimes it gives me the needs sometimes no, but always enjoy the trip around the website. For me the problem is not in graphical content, a good aproach to client, and good concept, and a clear mind is the necesary for a good design, but, the concept of “FLASH CREATIVE PROGRAMMING” would be a good book from 2A. ;)

Sorry for my english
Xisco

18 paplone - Thursday July 06, 2006

25 Rado - Saturday June 10, 2006

2Advanced Studios… I think that they are my gods of the internet. When someone ask me - what does design mean, my answer is simple - 2Advanced Studios.

26 Kronok - Friday June 09, 2006

Big fan of 2advanced Studios, as always the site is magnificent. I reallly hope they post tutorials often. I’d love to be able to teach myself from home. Heh

27 flashcdog - Thursday June 08, 2006

At the risk of being redundant…

Wow! Only way to describe the new site. Looking forward to seeing information from the people who single-handedly inspired me to pursue web and motion graphics.

Wonderful and inspiring.

28 ivoh - Thursday June 08, 2006

I see we are many many fans of 2A :) I am not keen on making art works, but the work of 2A inspire me most ! I keep an eye on everything new :)

Keep Going !

29 smokejava - Thursday June 08, 2006

I truly hope this become an active blog for you guys and not just an extension of experiements. Seeing your thought process for things would be a truly useful thing.

30 noxx - Wednesday June 07, 2006

yes 2advanced. my favour design company and home of inspiration. this is a good idea. i like it :-)

31 fmt - Wednesday June 07, 2006

You guys did it again. Re-defined the web. I definately think some tutorials would be great. Love the new site. Blew me out of the water. Keep up the great job. I did notice a few problems. However, I have a slow link, so I partly attribute them to that. But sometimes once you click a button, the site waits for that to load. If you click on another button, nothing happens. Until, all of a sudden, the first action happens, directly followed by the second. Maybe my link i dont know, but great job as always.

32 AirDJing - Tuesday June 06, 2006

I believe firmly the fact that this place becomes the Design Blog of the best in the world!

33 l19ht - Monday June 05, 2006

34 Clone - Sunday June 04, 2006

36 bjeld - Friday June 02, 2006

this.siteTotallyKicksBigTimeAss(true);

this is so nice!

Its the perfect result of:
Entusiasme with a capital E, love for what you are doing, and sleepless nights ;)

I love the feeling of the site, especially the perfect use of Glow/Blur filters!

I got the feeling of inner satisfaction browsing your site (”seeing it form a flash designers view”).

Very well constructed indeed!

Best regards
Martin Bjeld, FlashForum.dk

41 grafixmatt - Friday June 02, 2006

Nice job on the lightbox use, I used the same JS for my own portfolio.

Nowhere near as good a design as you guys have, but feel free to check it out. How did you guys get the “close” button to animate like that? I’m still trying to figure out how to get the actual button on top!

- grafix
