2 joe one - Saturday November 15, 2008

There’s nothin better than a tutorial of digital matte painting cause we all know photoshop, right?

3 Grafik - Saturday April 26, 2008

The best tutorials would probably ones in After Effects, and in Digital Matte Painting, as they are just so inredible.

4 Harry Northover - Thursday January 31, 2008

I would like to see some tutorials on Digital Matte Paintings, and After Effects. Special effects, something to spice up your site. Also maybe a few AS tutorials. How ever, any tutorials you guys do I will be happy to read.

Great Work guys! Keep it up!
Harry.

Flash all the way! I think it’d be easier if some of us start with Flash then work our way up to more advanced skills such as 3D and music production.

Tutorials? .. I’m still in awe lookin at 2advanced work. I have been a big fan since 2001 when I bought my first pc. Any tutorials from you guys would be greatly appreciated! .. Talk about icing on the cake!!

There’s a great site that does video tutorials for After Effects (videocopilot.net) something similar to this would be good?

Matte painting please. :)

9 angelpaz - Sunday December 30, 2007

Hi guys, what about the 2006 Reel, we are waiting for that

10 stfalx - Saturday December 22, 2007

I would really like to see matte painting tutorials. Because the flash animations are relativley easy to do. And since you’re time is really precious, it would be nice to start off with something harder, like matte painting. Im uber curious about how you guys did the backgrounds in the atractor. I voted for matte painting. Hope i recive a newsletter or something when you guys start making tutorials.

P.S.: It would be a nice Christmas gift, to see a tutorial for matte painting. Thank you 2A.

Lovely. I would love some tutorials using 3DSM advanced features, rendering recommendations and settings.

Overall, if any tutorials are posted, I’d definitely check them out.

Thanks guys!

17 abdulaziz - Saturday November 24, 2007

thank you

I have to definitely agree with Rajma; because if one searches enough, they will find a tutorial on everything that is already being asked. If you want Matte Painting tutorials, do check out the Gnomon Workshop, they have extensive lessons from start to finish. If you want After Effects training, theres Creative COW, ayoto web, and many more that once again, extensively covered from start to finish. Now what is RARELY out is a tutorial that extends the overall process of a project. You could even start with an outdated project, such as TSYS or some sort, and form it into a tutorial that has rarely been done before: One that explains how the project came about, the creative process, sketches/storyboards, transitions from pen and paper to digital media, to even what was the first thing done when you actually double click that Flash icon. This would give many of the freelancers out an idea of what really goes on in a full service design studio, that they wouldn’t otherwise see/understand…

19 krauser - Thursday November 22, 2007

I would seriously recommend that you do a tutorial on Static Design (Websites) or Static Design (Experimental). Flash Animation is currently leading the vote count but for flash animation it have to cover so much and would end up being too indepth. I would really like to see something static and see how the process is started there and the steps taken throughout the design process. For me that would be far more fufulling than learn some advanced motion techniques, your works constantly amaze and it would be great to see on the inside into the minds of 2A.

20 Rajma - Wednesday November 21, 2007

I think a series of tutorials laying out the process that 2Advanced is known for would be the ultimate learning guide. A full series showing how you build a site. Start with concept and design (maybe a tutorial on each: 3D, Digital Matte Painting and Web Design -Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) then Flash implementation (modules and source code) along with After Effects and finally the process of putting it together into a functional site (HTML, CSS, PHP, ASP, etc.). I know that this would take several tutorials, but I’ve never seen anyone do it this way. Probably because they did not have the resources to do it. I think this would give us the ultimate look into what 2Advanced is really about and how you’ve become one of the groundbreaking companies on the Internet.

21 Stephan Lenting - Tuesday November 20, 2007

Guess everybody would like to see tutorials in different disciplines, but you could just use the poll for the first one…

22 Reiji - Tuesday November 20, 2007

Why not at least one of each? Take your time between tutorials, but don’t forget about us…start with the easier for you and then add more with time…after all, we will love whatever you have for us!

23 TIBrent - Tuesday November 20, 2007

I’d love to see some flash tutorials as well. I’d love source files as well just so I could sort of walk through it as well. Always helps to make sure everyone is on the same page. :) FINALLY!

24 oubelhanegra - Tuesday November 20, 2007

Flash animation and effects, dynamic modules in flash or like vectortrance say DDL.

25 ryan - Tuesday November 20, 2007

Honestly the thing that has always amazed me is how well 2advanced creates very very graphical layouts without the processor issues other flash pages have, this includes very quick and snappy load times for massive gorgeous looking graphics.

26 Stephan Lenting - Tuesday November 20, 2007

I would like to know more about the digital paintings you used for the 2advanced v5 site, maybe you can share some tips and techniques…
That will be great, also would like to know a bit more about the process when you guys are working for a interactive project.
Thanks in advance :)

27 Darsh136 - Tuesday November 20, 2007

Great !!!!
Some flash tutorials, and.. is it possible to see the steps for v5’s map painting..?
Thanks a lot !

28 xstorm - Tuesday November 20, 2007

Something about DDL (dynamic deep linking) would be great.

29 vectortrance - Monday November 19, 2007

I’d love to see some Flash based tutorials. Maybe a combination of animation and actionscript.

So long as source files are included, and processes are explained, then I’d be a happy camper.

30 Metz - Monday November 19, 2007
